It started with one container.
Then word got around.
Local Container Deals was founded in 2011 in Florida — right in the middle of one of the busiest shipping corridors in the country. Our founder saw the same problem over and over: people needed containers, but the industry made it unnecessarily complicated. Prices were vague, grades were misrepresented, and delivery was a gamble.
So we started doing it differently. We began with a small lot of used containers and a simple promise: show the customer exactly what they're buying, tell them the truth about its condition, and deliver it when we said we would.
That approach worked. Word spread from one job site to the next. By the mid-2010s, we had expanded from used storage containers into new one-trip units, high cubes, and specialty sizes — serving customers across Florida and shipping to neighboring states.
More than a decade later, that same promise still runs the business. We've delivered hundreds of containers to farms, construction sites, small businesses, homeowners, and even a few film productions. And we still answer the phone ourselves.

Every used container we list is photographed individually. If there's rust, we show it. If there's a dent, we point it out. You know exactly what's arriving before you pay a deposit.
Honest Grading
We grade every container against recognized industry standards — IICL, Cargo Worthy, or Wind & Watertight. If it's not cargo worthy, we don't call it cargo worthy. Period.
Transparent Pricing
Our quotes include the container, delivery, and any placement fees — all in one number. No surprise charges after the truck shows up.
